The Relax Company accepts iDEAL, PayPal, Bancontact, Afterpay, and direct bank transfers.
We will ship your order immediately after receiving payment. Please note that with direct bank transfer, it may take a few days longer for the payment to be processed. After that, your order will come your way as soon as possible!
With the Relax Company, you can safely pay later using AfterPay. During the ordering process, select the ‘AfterPay’ payment method. After you have completed your order, AfterPay will send you a digital giro slip to the email address you provided within a few working days. Payment via AfterPay is possible for amounts up to €400.-. Many people want to know how far or how high a hammock should be hung. Our advice is to use your common sense and, most importantly, don’t be too difficult.
The ideal distance and height can be easily calculated using this rule of thumb:
Distance = height * 2 or
Height = distance / 2
Keep in mind that a new hammock will stretch slightly with regular use. When measuring distance and height, allow for a 10 cm to 50 cm stretch.
Keep in mind that a tree or wall must be strong enough to support your weight. Are you in doubt? To avoid mishaps, consult with an expert. Unfortunately, we are not construction experts 😉.

The Relax Company hammocks are woven using the Jacquard technique. A technique in which the Relax Company prints are worked into the fabric using two colors and three threads. This results in the Relax Company Sounds’ distinctive mottled gray color.
Our hammocks are handmade from 100% organic cotton, a natural material. Cotton is extremely durable and feels great against the skin. The fabric of a Relax Company hammock is woven to be comfortable and soft, and it molds to your body. Cotton also requires proper treatment. If you follow the advice below, your hammock will look great for a long time:
- Always store the hammock dry, this keeps the cotton in good condition and the colors beautiful.
- Do not hang the hammock in the rain or in a humid environment. The hammocks have had a special treatment to minimize color bleeding, but dark colors in particular can be sensitive to it.
- The hammocks have undergone a special treatment that minimizes discoloration from the sun, but very much direct sunlight can affect the color somewhat. Therefore, do not leave the hammock hanging in full sun for days on end. Within tolerance, this is part of the product and we cannot guarantee this.
- A new hammock can stretch a bit with normal use. Allow for a stretch of 10 cm to a maximum of 50 cm.
The hammock can be washed by hand. Wring out the hammock thoroughly afterward. Avoid soaking the hammock and always dry it naturally; never spin dry or tumble dry.
Our hammocks are handcrafted in Colombia from 100% organic cotton. The hammock is a natural product. This means that the hammocks’ colors may not be identical. The color of your hammock may differ slightly from those shown on our website. Of course, we, along with our Colombian friends, strive to make them as similar as possible. Explore our hammock colors.

The wooden hammock stand Bow is crafted from high-quality Scandinavian spruce wood sourced from a sustainable forest. The hammock stand carries the FSC™ label. Because of the cold temperatures in Scandinavia, spruce grows at a slow rate. This allows the wood to develop a high density. This makes the standard very strong. So you can enjoy it without worry.
The steel hammock stand Nautico from the brand La Siesta is made of strong steel. The steel hammock stand is powder-coated. This makes it easier to clean. The frame features a convenient plug-in system. This facilitates assembly and disassembly. Ideal for carrying.
Weather influences such as hail, sun, rain, high and low temperatures, and so on all have a negative impact on the standard’s quality. When exposed, the stand may lose quality faster than usual.
To keep the stand in top condition, we recommend following the manual’s instructions.
● Protect the stand from moisture.
● Clean the stand with a slightly damp cloth without detergent.
● Wood has the natural ability to react to weathering. Treat the wooden stand with wood wax oil twice a year. We recommend doing this when the season begins and the season ends.
We charge €4,- in shipping costs for packages delivered to addresses in the Netherlands. For packages to Belgium, we charge €9,- for shipping.
When you pick up your package in our Zwolle store, you will not be charged for shipping. Please contact us via chat, email, or telephone.
When you place an order between Monday and Friday before 16:00, your package will be shipped the same day. Usually, your package will arrive the next day! We and the deliverer make every effort to deliver your package on time.
The delivery time for the wooden stand is a few working days longer. We ship these every Monday and Thursday.
Of course. Once your order is registered with the carrier, you will receive an email with a Track & Trace code. This enables you to closely monitor the shipment of your Relax Company product.
When we receive your order, we immediately begin packing and shipping so that the products can be delivered to you as soon as possible. Unfortunately, your order cannot be changed after it has been placed.
If you are not completely satisfied with your Relax Company product, you can exchange or return it within 100 days. Returns from the Netherlands and Belgium are free, except for stands.

When we receive your shipment, we will email you a confirmation, and we will begin working on your request. Unless you have requested an exchange, we will refund the purchase price to your account as soon as possible.
